Crossed over to the darker side
Hi Guys my name is Matt and I picked up a 2019 N-line w/tech package and DCT transmission on the first of this month and have no regrets once so ever. Car was listed for $27k and after a little negotiating, the final price was $22k out the door. As a long time VW guy I'm very impressed with car, especially the fit and finish. Was kinda surprised it lacked a few safety features that were standard on other cars, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the DCT as well, especially for being developed in house by Hyundai. Its a very responsive transmission, and definitely rivals that of other dual clutch transmissions out there. The engine is very responsive, especially for such a small displacement and the power band & broad torque curve is nice too. The N-line with the tech package was a no contest & definitely sold me on the car. Between the panoramic sunroof, alpine stereo, and heated/cooled seats its a great deal. As for the handling, the car is great in the corners although I wished the DCT received the summer tires like the manual transmissions because the all seasons leave much to be desired. But anyway sorry for the rambling on, and look forward to info here on the forum!
