2018 GT Sport Door Locks

I'm in the market for a new GT Sport. I have been watching all the YouTube reviews and noticed that there are no manually operated inside door locks. So hypothetical question ...if the doors are locked and you are involved in a major accident that kills all the electrical circuits how do you unlock the doors to get out of the car? Maybe I'm missing the obvious?

Thanks

You pull on the door handles twice. I think it's mechanically set so it'll unlock after pulling it twice, similar to the Mini Coopers I've been in (R53's).

It's not really obvious. I've had a few passengers wrench on the door handles before I unlocked the doors.
Most cars have speed sensors especially once the vehicle is in a drive gear. So in the case of an accident you can try shifting to one of the stationary gears before unlocking.

I think he's talking about a scenario where the collision may have been violent enough to disable the battery or connectors physically.

You're right though. I believe most cars lock and unlock depending on speed and/or shifter position, and how the settings are configured.
