This morning it snowed like crazy. Cleared out the area in front of my driveway where the snow plows pushed all the snow from the road. Drove through all the other snow to get on to the road no problem. Drove on the road very very confidently. The car handles it great.

Coming home and trying to park, however, was a different story.

Reversing back into my parking spot did not go so well. Obviously there was still a good amount of snow, but even in following the tracks from when I left the driveway I found the car slipping the clutch in reverse and throwing me in neutral as I tried to apply throttle to back in. Numerous times. I couldn't let the car climb by itself as the driveway is a little uphill and the DCT won't let reverse creep so I had to apply throttle. It seemed no matter how much or little I applied, it eventually slipped and threw me in neutral. I really had to dig a hole going back and forth through the snow to then back in.

After finally getting in I smelled some lovely clutch and was a bit disappointed.

Just a small rant from this morning. I love the car in general but the DCT overall could have been tuned better.

I have the same problem with mine. Last night I finally gave up and pulled into my garage. I am hoping that snow tires will help. I’ve owned my GT for 4 years, but this winter is the worst.
