I have an axle-back system from AFE I am trying to sell. Practically brand new, was too loud for my liking. Was only on for about 3 weeks before removing. It is the black tip ones.

Did this fit on the 2019? I picked up a 2019 NLine and am looking at the AFE Axle-Back, just want to make sure it fits on the 2019.

As far as I’m aware, the exhaust system on both cars is the exact same. But I would have to look up to confirm.

Its a bit of a stretch but has anyone looking into headers for their Elantra or just a more aggressive exhaust setup? Curious to see what's out but for now it seems limited.

PLEASE reconsider the axle back, and if your heart is set on it then consider getting a muffler welded on. I installed mine in November and it is SOOOOO loud. Its not aftermarket headers, catless, downpipe, straight piped coyote v8 loud BUT its honestly not too far off. I cannot drive it quietly, no matter how low in the rpm range i am, and if you install it, your neighbors will hate you. I cant even have a conversation in my car. I had a catback on my last car and it wasn't nearly as loud as this axleback.

I don't know if getting the AFE muffler exhaust (there is one) is worth it, as they don't quote any HP gains. I'm sure it looks nice, maybe it sounds a little more rumbly, but the OEM one will last a long time.

Not saying the axle-back is a good idea, given the noise. Just don't know of a good OE replacement that keeps noise down and adds performance.

I have the afe axle back and I love it. It is loud, but there is no drone, which is more important to me. On the highway it's not bad at all. It pops and gurgles a lot and sounds mean. Its quiter than my wife's explorer with magnaflow cats and cat back. I recommend it personally...

As do I and love it! Cold starts are the best. No drone on the highway either.
