Took me forever to finally get around to doing this project. I dipped the grill black and wrapped the emblem gloss black. To make this easier, I removed the front bumper and laid down the dip. Wrapping the emblem was a piece of cake. No noticeable differences in cruise control, emergency braking, etc. since.

Nice work. I tried dip on mine but it didn't turn out great. Ended up removing the silver with acetone... carefully, as it will eat into the plastic. Then I polished it up. Its glossy, somewhere between a clear coat paint job and satin black. No worrying about chip's in the paint either, which it was already getting at 5000 miles, and I'm super careful not to tailgate. They make emblem covers so you can black out the H but still retain the logo, like flat background with a glossy H... I need to order one to finish it up...
