Sounds like Loctite Blue (light-duty thread adhesive, breaks free with hand tools) would be a good application for this.

Ok found all the nuts and found one when it fell out of the cover. I found 4 nuts loose.

Didnt have a good outcome with service writer so I am glad I found the nut.He was ok just didnt see it my way. Why should I drive 60 miles round trip for each visit for a little 10mm nut? But he has to go by the book. I know from experince, 36 selling automoibles it would be more than 1 trip. LOL

Use aircraft nuts. Mine were loose when I removed my spoiler and added a low profile wing top with full led 3rd brake light strip, all vinyl wrapped.

I had this exact problem. it was driving me nuts! it would only happen after i turn a corner or go along bumpy road. i looked everywhere to see where the rattle was coming from, the eventually decided to check the spoiler bolts. Sure enough the nut had actually come lose, fallen off and rattling against the body. Took a while to try and retrieve it but once it was screwed back on no more vibrations and happy days!
