I wanted to debadge it for a while finally did it yesterday and I love it. Used a heat gun fishing line rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth to clean the residue. I’ll add a pic of the visors soon 👍 oh also I know I ****** up on the right side vortex generators 😅

vortex generators? are you talking about those spike looking things you glued onto your roof? why did you do that? I can't imagine that does anything other than create wind noise... not to mention the spacing is not uniform and it looks out of place. Some mods are good and some are terrible. This is certainly not a good one in my book. I don't mean this as an insult, just my take on the look. The debadging looks great though!

The spikes are 100% for looks lol everyone has an idea of what they want their car to look like and that was mine! Sorry if they’re unappealing to ya.. and for me doing them off hand I think I did pretty good spacing on the left side but hey nobody’s perfect lmao

Car looks great Chris and I actually don't mind how those 'vortex generators' look. We see those kinds of fins used on a lot of performance models, like the CTR. I'm assuming they just attached with double sided adhesive?

I considered de-badging mine, but there are so few of these cars around here in DFW, that I didn't want to explain it to everyone...BUT I am planning on Plasti-Dipping the ELANTRA on the liftgate tomorrow. I had thought about RED, but decided to go with Black to balance the Black GT letters in the square badge.

Love the debadging, its also something on my list of things to do. In addition to that I might do something to the Hyundai emblem that hints to the brands new N division.
Done right it would add the right touch and almost look like an OEM option.

The DRL colors are determined by what type of headlights you have on your Elantra GT. The daytime running lights are white if you have the regular halogen headlights. Reason: The amber turn signal is built into the headlight housing. Daytime running lights are amber color if you have LED headlights. Reason: The blinker is not in the headlight housing. Instead, the daytime running lights are amber and also act as the blinker. In the US, the turn signal lights are to be either red or amber.
