Hi all... So I was wondering if anyone knows if the elantra sport steering wheel will fit on the EGTS? I asked the dealer and they said they didnt think it would fit but I'm like 99% sure it should fit... i just wanna confirm before i buy the wheel i love the flat bottom on it

Who did you ask that question to at the dealership?
From working in the dealership environment I can tell you that often its the parts guys or a few techs with that technical knowledge. Just about everyone is clueless. Parts guys will have the diagrams to confirm.

There is going to be quite a bit involved in that kind of swap. Do you care about retaining all your steering wheel controls, because there is a chance those may not work afterwards either. I agree with the other comments that since these two cars are made at different facilities, parts are unlikely interchangeable.
Steering wheel controls look the same from what I can tell air bag looks similar as long as the spring holes line up, hopefully the splines are the same the plug looks similar too I contacted two different dealerships by email so Ill see what they say.
