[Sarovan]

New 2018 Elantra GT base model owner here. Before I purchased this car I was looking for a sport model, but they are very rare on the used market where I'm from and given I was in desperate need of a new vehicle, I purchased the base model in hopes that I could do some performance upgrades later. It seems that upgrades are very limited for the GT base, so I was contemplating eventually purchasing a used 1.6 T-GDI from the sport model and dropping it into my base model. How similar are the base and sport models and would I need any other parts other than just the engines? It seems that tranny might be different on both. I'm pretty new to car modding so I just thought I would start my research here.
