I am sorry if there is a thread regarding this. I did perform a search and did not get anything back related to my question. I have a 2019 Elenrta N Line and was about to perform the Intercooler resonator delete but ran into a small problem. It seems one of the clamps that I need to losen to remove the pipe has some sort of cover on them. I see there is some workaround for this problem but has anyone else come across this? If so, how did you work around this? My plan is to remove the pipe on clamp over and remove the larger section and deal with the cover with some plyers. Thoughts????

You should be able to pop the cover off with a flat head. Underneath is the end of the screw to loosen the clamp.

The cover just pops off and you can unscrew it from there.

Thanks this worked and the job is done. I will now see if there is any improvement in gas mileage or HP. Mind you, I don't think the HP will be noticeable and I don't believe in butt dynos LOL.
