So K&N have a cold air intake and i bought it and installed it. Gives new tone to the car and was really easy to install. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade parts. Will post more pics and "critiques" as I get more parts.

I assume there isn't a lot of power gain with just an intake mod, but good to know you're enjoying the change in sound. May look into one as well, how much was yours?

it was 320 and free shipping direct from K&N, im getting an exhaust fabbed up soon and then a tune to compensate to get the actual gains

I'm assuming you can now hear the factory blow off valve? The whole reason I did the K&N swap on my Genesis was to hear that sound aha. Its the main reason I don't think I can go back to a non turbo car. Glad to hear you also have plans on an aftermarket exhaust as its usually suggested they get swapped together. Be sure to less us know the changes in performance, once you've completed your mods.

Yes you can hear it after the intake is installed, but it's technically a bypass valve and not a true blow off valve. I just had a custom exhaust mad up and installed. When i have the time i will make a video with so you all can hear the sound of it.

Anyone who wants the BOV to sound more pronounced should look into getting a spacer. Personally I wouldn't do it, but a lot of people have with other cars. I believe the Fiesta and Genesis communities do it a lot.

I mean if you want it to be more pronounced wouldn't it make sense to actually buy an aftermarket BOV? What is this spacer you are talking about? I know there were also BOV silencer deletes with the stock intake, that basically involved switching around the intake plug. Looking forward to hearing your new set up, and its great to see you guys delving into modification.

I am waiting on TurboXS to finish fabbing a flange to work with their BOVs and will be using their Type H RFL (really f***in loud). That should be in the next week or so.

Would love to hear it, didn't find the need to install a true BOV with the K&N swap. Was more than loud enough for myself and nearby pedestrians aha. How much are the BOV's going for in the GT?

Not the video that I've promised but I just had my new rims and tires installed this morning. Drag DR-38 with Nitto Neo Gen 225/40R18 You can also see the exhaust tip that goes with the custom exhaust i had installed. Just a muffler delete strait piped into dual exit black tips

Those rims look awesome, love the red pin striping. Can't believe, you've got a straight pipe set up on the GT, must be quite the dramatic change from the OEM set up.

I'm new to the forum and I'm glad that one was made. Looks and sounds great man. For those interested, afe power released their own axle back (with custom tips) as well. You can hear the sound clips on their instagram. They are also working on a cat back which has sound clips too.

I also went and deleted the muffler, and had some stuff fab'd out at a local performance shop. I have other threads out there if you're curious about sounds outside, and inside. (sorry - not trying to hijack this thread)
