Is there any way to kill the beeping sound on the Lane Keeping Assist function? This makes it just about worthless unless you like LOUD intermittent warnings when lane striping does sometthing squirrely, like the diverging lines at a highway exit. It understandably makes passengers nervous. My wife's Mustang has this and there is only steering wheel assist no beep.

There's a button to the left you can depress to disable the functionality. It does not just disable the beeping though, it disables LKA completely.

As far as I know its either enabled or disabled, with no way to turn off the chime. Might be something the dealer can change with a reader/diagnostic tool.
