It's on the cold side pipe to the intake. You won't see it unless you remove the air box

You're the best!If you got to the front of the engine, driver side and look down you'll see it (with the airbox removed as mentioned).
You'll see a pipe going from the front mount intercooler to the engine intake
Thanks again! Install was super simple once I knew what I was looking for. Total time was about 45 minutes and that included removing and reinstalling my intake and catch can.If you got to the front of the engine, driver side and look down you'll see it (with the airbox removed as mentioned).

Mine is mounted to one of the stock airbox holes. So it basically was right in the way. I simply unscrewed it and flipped it up on the engine block. You had to reinstall your catch can for this? Good to know, I'll get this done before I install my catch can. Thanks.
We are coming out with our Pierburg Replacement! Keep an eye on our website in the next week or so! This valves comes with lifetime warranty.Has anybody done this mod? I have the part but can't for the life of me locate it in the engine bay. I looked for about 20 minutes and was still unsure about where it is. 2020 gt N Line for reference
I intend to do the wastegate solenoid next, thanks for the heads upRight on. From my experience the MAC BOV is known to overheat and cause issues overtime so do keep an eye out. I'd recommend something more like this: N75 Race Valve EBCS Wastegate Solenoid Valve Replacement Kit (Pierburg)
Which is what I'm running.
It uses the same Valve, different conversion harness, but yes the same valve as the Race Valve. MAC valves have a low operating temp. thats why we came out with this one.I intend to do the wastegate solenoid next, thanks for the heads up
On the Elantra GT N Line it is still mechanical, using a solenoid valve. From what I understand the 2019 and up do not have a wastegate solenoid. It's all controlled by computer. Please correct me if I'm wrong though...
the wastegate solenoid valve is the best upgrade you can do on these cars for the money, if DCT the car will drive better, if 6SPD it will make more power, either way it will make more power.I know the thread was about the bov, but Sence said he was doing the wastegate valve so i was curious about that.... may have to get one now...
Please PM US on Facebook or InstagramHello, N75 i purchased the Pierburg BOV solenoid setup, do you have the plumbing diagram for it? I.e which port connects to the BOV, Intake, and Cold return on 2019 Elantra GT with 1.6T? Thank You
