I want to use an old cellphone to run torque pro permanently and was wondering if anybody had some good ideas for mounting options. I want it to be sleek and look as oem as possible but really have no idea where to start.

Have you looked into the android auto app? It can essentially screen some gauges directly to the cluster. Works pretty good in my opinion

While that sounds amazing those instructions seem a bit daunting.

It's a bit of a pain to get started initially, but once it's installed its as easy as any other app on android auto.

It's also less intimidating that it looks. I believe I got mine fully setup in about 20 minutes.

I did notice that the apps aren't well optimized. Torque always runs in the bg and same with this app.

What I did was install the apps on an older phone I no longer use and leave that in the cart 24/7 wired up. It connects to my main phones hotspot once I enter the car so android auto, music and all that works. Only downside is I don't have my main phone connected to the car anymore so if it's on silent I'll miss a call when my music is too loud.
