Bought a 2018 Elantra GT GL Auto in Silver a few weeks ago.
I previously had a 2010 Elantra Touring. This car is much better in almost every way.

I don't see too many of these in southern Alberta, Canada.
Everyone mostly drives pickup trucks or SUV's here - I prefer a hatchback.

Congrats on the GT and welcome!

I've got both, but drive the GT as the daily driver. 10mi daily round trip is tough on diesels, so I let the GF drive the beast the 56mi daily round trip she does (she likes driving the truck over the car anyways). I honestly prefer my go-cart to the truck most of the time. More nimble to sneak through gaps in traffic. Mileage is about the same for both of us, oddly enough. Fuel efficiency doesn't do well 35-45mph stop-and-go.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new GT! And I expect with raising gas prices that we'll see a lot of people considering downsizing from their current SUV. I think we also need to see more AWD options across hatchbacks.
@pr0leyyc Which part of Alberta are you from. I'm From Calgary and So is a guy Joey from the Facebook groups. Except now i live in BC, but were always willing to help. Joey has helped me a lot, and seems like he has done a lot of work compared to others on Facebook. Everyone is slowly working their way to mods and such. Even though you have the 2.0L, you can still mod what you want. Here's mine but i have the 1.6L.

Nice photos & car.

Yes Calgary also. It's been a month & I still haven't seen one of these on the road yet. A few of the previous generation, but that's it.
I'm not on Facebook, but I'll see if I can google & look at the group.

Not sure what my mod plans are, if any.
Right now I'm looking for a good set of winter tires...
