Finally getting my new GT. Wanted the Sport but nothing near me in the color and with the tech package (nearest was 4 1/2 hrs away). Had been watching a base with tech and style Black w/ Beige for over a month. Yesterday finally went to get OTD price and trade value. Got what I wanted, price and trade. Pick it Friday.

Congrats on getting the deal you wanted. Not everyone knows dealers have room to haggle especially if you approach them at the right time.

What other vehicles have you been looking into? Someone I know gave up on the Elantra GT for a Mazda 3 :|

Well I went the other way. I was close to buying the 3 then tested the GT. It was a hard choice. I have a focus titanium and would have bought another but ford had other ideas so after almost 30 years of fords we will try something new. The wife went with a subaru but I at least don’t have to drive it

Well picked up my new Black with Beige Base GT w/ Tech and Style yesterday. Drove home about 60 miles wonderful back roads. What a dream car for the price!!! Came out of a Focus Titanium w/ the DCT. With just the short drive I can tell the car handles about the same as the Focus it is quieter (but I will probably add the silicone weather stripping). The seat I have to play with as I am used to sitting lower than I seem to be able to get in the GT. The transmission is not up to the DCT for speed of shifts but I didn't get crazy with so few miles. Power seems to be on par with the Ford. Love the sound system. Will go thru and set up everything today and then go out and play some....
