Hey everyone. I’m very excited about the 2018 GT Sport with Tech Package I just purchased. Love the car so far. But I have one issue that I was hoping someone could help me with. When I’m parked and the car is idling, the AC stops blowing cold air. It blows air, but like room temperature. I live in the south where it is humid, so it is noticeable. Anyone have, or had, the same issue? Thanks.

Nice. I have the same car down to the color. I can't say I've noticed this issue but when in auto mode the output air temp will vary as the system tries to maintain the set temperature. Set temperature does not necessarily equal air temp coming out the vents.
Another possibility is that the compressor is being shut off if coolant temps are getting high to help cool the engine.

My mom has this exact car and I have a 2019 N Line. I have not experienced it blowing room temperature air at idle. I dont know what temp you set the climate control too but I have found the display for the climate control lackluster compared to my 2013 EGT with Tech Package and Dual Zone. That car showed exactly where the air was going and at what speed even in auto mode whereas these cars just show the temperature set and that's it. I also found I have to adjust the temperature fairly often to stay comfortable. Its not like 72 degrees year round like in my old car but rather 70 in summer and 73 in cooler weather. The car probably does change the compressor load at times which may contribute to warmer air at a stop but it shouldn't be warmish if its humid and hot outside and the inside temp is much lower than outside.

If you lower the temp will it blow cold air or stays warm. If it doesn't I would take it in. Almost sounds like it is low on freon. I live in California where it gets warm but my '19 N-line always keeps the air at set temp. Granted is not as humid here but has no problem cooling at idle in 90 deg temps.
