Driving 300+ miles south to take delivery of my 2019 Intense Blue Elantra GT N-line with 6-speed manual transmission. Getting this car has involved way more effort then I anticipated. More on that later. Looking forward to the drive home with it.

What are members thoughts on engine break in during these initial miles? My thinking is to vary speed by 5mph every 30 minutes or so.

I would recommend following the owners manual. Try to avoid constant RPM (I believe they suggest keeping the RPM between 2000-4000 RPM for the first 1000kms). Don't beat on it to hard

Welcome to the forum ArtnAle. Yes fluctuating your speed and keeping RPMS low for the first few hundred miles is best route. Seem like the majority of the process will be done just taking delivery of your car so you'll be able to get on it soon enough.
