2019 Hyundai Elantra GT N Line front seats & red trim on them wearing

Red trim on Drivers Side seat wearing off
Looks to be due to the seat belt when buckled sits along the driver door side of the seat (probably will happen also on passenger side as well if used frequently as well)

Per Dealership they first stated not covered, its normal wear and tear, but car was only 1 year 2 months old & had 45k on it. I then called Hyundai Customer Car 800# & they advised it would be covered under 5yr 60k warranty, so called Dealership back & they advised Hyundai Customer care reps can not authorize repairs , I said then why does Hyundai even have that number for customer questions and complaints?
So Dealership then submitted the claim and after stating it wasn't covered...Hyundai corp approved claim to get the leather seat outer cover replaced!
Just FYI in case others have the issue or to keep a lookout for this issue happening on your seats. Auto part Seat belt Vehicle Car seat Car
Red Orange Carbon Auto part Vehicle

Same is happening to mine and I I'm still under 30,000km. Even if its not warranty I'm going ask the dealer to have Hyundai cover it under "good will" policy cause that's ridiculous for a car this new. I have to book it in soon to do the steering column service bulletin so ill see how it goes.

The problem is that the seat belt attaches further back alongside the driver and passenger seats ( i had checked a 2019 Honda accord and it doesn't rub the side of seat like the gt n line does ) the seats are covered per hyundai customer care ( 5 yr 60k ) but the trouble is getting the dealerships to honor the warranty and not say its just common wear and tear issue( which it isn't, it is how the seat belts are attached and causing them to rub up on the side of the seat)

I got my steering column fixed too ( the first dealer tried to say it was just the tires turning on the ground that I heard ( I was like really!!!! ) not !! So went to 2nd dealership.. with a video of the sound as I turned steering wheel right & left . AND ITS FIXED ! Dealerships can be a royal pain in the area! Since they are all independently owned and they will tell customers anything to get out of fixing the problem! But some are good ..But itsxa pain finding them
