I was just trying to determine if mine was defective or not and whether or not to make a service appointment.Otherwise, what is there to comment on? It's just how it is.
The camera in my wife's Buick does the same at night. How do you like your N Line? I haven't seen any on the roads. The reverse camera on my 2020 N Line is extremely grainy at night - almost to the point of being useless. Is this an across the board issue or is mine defective?
Overall, I am quite impressed with the car. As you can see from my posts on this thread and my signature, the N Line is my daily driver/grocery getter and as such it is wonderful. I have always desired a car with more than average acceleration and better than average road handling and the N Line fills this bill. It also has lots of nice features with the tech package, a really nice interior and it is very nice looking. All in all it is a far cry from my traded in Juke (which also was a great performer). But no comparison to my SS CamaroThe camera in my wife's Buick does the same at night. How do you like your N Line? I haven't seen any on the roads.
Is the one you bought?I installed LED backup light bulbs and they made a great improvement in the camera image at night.
The bulbs I used are from Lasfit.com
Yes it is.Is the one you bought?

Thanks
Great, from that website under Trim level for the 2018 GT Sport it only shows "with Halogen Head lights" and I'm sure they are LED. Whatever. I think I'll go for it as the backup camera at night sure is a weak spot.Is the one you bought?

Thanks for the heads up. After reading your information I did a Google search on reverse lights for our cars and there are a lock of applications. Almost overwhelming actually. Being inherently cheap I found some LED bulbs for a very reasonable $9 for the pair. They are 1300 lumens per bulb which is a huge increase over the factory bulbs. And you can tell by the increased video quality of the back up camera.Yes it is.Is the one you bought?

Here you go. Super easy install. These are 1300 lumen each bulb. Most applications are 1,000. The Lasfit mentioned on this thread are 1500Dak21: where did you get the LED reverse lights that you ended up purchasing? Can you send a link ?
Thanks
No problem. This morning was the first time I drove in the dark since the install. Well worth the measly $9, rather dramatic improvement in light output which helps with the b/u camera image. Thanks dac21
Thanks for the tip - ordered 2 of them, 1 for my wife's 2019 GTN and 1 for my 2020 Veloster (hope it works). Here you go. Super easy install. These are 1300 lumen each bulb. Most applications are 1,000. The Lasfit mentioned on this thread are 1500
