I have a 2018 GT Sport. Any advice on how to reduce road noise inside? At 60+ mph It is so noisy I can barely have a conversation. Unfortunately I am driving on rough SC highways, so that doesn’t help. I have Hankook Ventus S1 tires. Thanks.
The Hankook tires are straight up trash. That's a good place to start.I have a 2018 GT Sport. Any advice on how to reduce road noise inside? Do you have a manual or DCT? C&D said that the 6MT was noisy on the freeway. I have a 7DCT and it is not loud on road trips (even with the sport exhaust), so I assume the 1.6L is a bit buzzy at higher RPMs.
I have a DCT. I have a lot of tread left on those tires. I guess I’ll have to be patient. 😊 Thanks. The Hankook tires are straight up trash. That's a good place to start.

Changing out the tires might be a good idea regardless. They are known to have sidewall cracking from manufacturing defects over time in addition to being noisy. I would have liked to have measured the difference in cabin noise just by changing the tires but it was noticeable by ear.I have a 2018 GT Sport. Any advice on how to reduce road noise inside? What tires do you have now? I'm looking at replacing/upgrading mine soon.Changing out the tires might be a good idea regardless. I have Michelin PS4S. My mom has the Michelin Pilot Sport 3+ A/S. I honestly think mine might be a smidge quieter than hers but I am not sure. Both are a HUGE upgrade in handling compared to stock. Noise is a smidge quieter than stock. Comfort is slightly better as well IMO.What tires do you have now? I'm looking at replacing/upgrading mine soon.
