...my trusty but rusty 2002 Accent hatch finally retired from a full-time position and moves to part-time kayak shuttle. Accent performed its duties admirably, after stepping in to fill a role unexpectedly vacated by a Ford Focus lost to an accident. For a time, I thought I'd get another Focus - but not now! The Summit Gray 2018 Elantra GT Sport that I brought home today was worth the nigh on 3 year period of indecision. Now a Focus seems almost unthinkable...I am officially loyal to Hyundai! And if they keep bringing European-flavored handsome, affordable, fun-to-drive-yet-practical cars like the Elantra GT Sport to North America, I will continue to be loyal.

Congratulations, loving my Summit Grey GT Sport as well. I still need to figure out a few things on the infotainment system ( Android auto in particular) The car keeps surprising me with little innovations. Like when my low fuel light comes on the display will have a pop up warning asking if I want to use navigation to find the closest Gas station. Or if it is raining and my front wipers are on, the rear wiper automatically comes on if I'm in reverse gear pulling out of a parking spot at a shopping mall. I'm sure a few more little Easter eggs will pop up at some point I'm still just 5 weeks in on my purchase.
Congrats on the long overdue upgrade and welcome to the forum. Night and day difference in terms of styling from Hyundai models in the early 2000's.
Congrats @Yak

You upgraded at the right time, of all Elantra's that have come out this is the most interesting.
