Been doing some research on the tint types and watching some videos. Did you use the "air release" tint or the water application tint?

I got a quote for headlights, tail lights and reflector lights and it was over $300. So I'll spend a few bucks and try it myself..lol.

I second this question lol. I got mine done with the light tint spray by someone that looks horrible, and the shop quote on blacking the lights was basically what Vinnie got quoted too lbvs

I wound up ordering "vivid air release" tint. Just got it in the mail yesterday, now i need to wait for my heat gun to come in...lol. Been watching a bunch of videos on youtube from "CKwraps". Dude does some great work and is very informative, if you're looking for some tips.

It was the dark black air release. Within a day or two the tail light I did peeled up along the top edge. The tail light my neighbor did is staying put. I already order more to redo my light and am just waiting for a day to knock it out.

Tinted 1 set of tail lights and the lower reflectors. Gonna do the 3rd brake light as well, gotta order some more tint. Might also do the headlights and signals.

Ps. Tinting the brake lights on the side are a BIIITCH!!!!! I wound up ripping the tint off because I could not get it to sit flat. Had a lot of wrinkles and folds. Like this look better than a shitty tint job...lol.

I have the same issue but the one my neighbor did is 99%. The one I did looks terrible. I'm gonna redo it again but it's certainly a learned thing because he knocked it out but he's wrapped his whole car.
