The comment about the silicone makes me wonder if I should do that to my Takeda axleback. The instructions don't mention it but you've got me curious now. People with that exhaust tend to say there's no drone, but I feel like there is. Wonder if sealing that up would help at all.

I'm also not sure if I properly torqued the band clamps at the time... might be time to break out the jack stands again.

I have torqued the clamps again (Got another full turn with a 1/2 breaker bar lol) and it still leaks just enough to feel it when your hand is next to it. Overall I have to say it's not what I expected quality/fit wise. I think its a fair deal for catback but at $900 now, its much harder to recommend than when it was $700.
